Description: <DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>Logan City's Parcels were generated from Cache County's Parcel database. A company named ENGEO(sp?) was contracted to create a shapefile for Cache County (probably in the early 1990's). It's not known when Logan City's GIS Department acquired them, but as soon as 2003 the City began maintaining their own Parcel layer. The Parcel layer's geometry has since been altered to match the property lines visable in Orthophotography. In 2004, 6 inch pixel color Ortho's where used to adjust parcel lines. Parcel lines have aslo been adjusted using 2010 and 2013 3 inch pixel color orthos. Parcels are also adjusted when Spatialy Referenced AutoCad drawing show surveyed Parcels. Most of the parcel's attributes are updated using Cache County's Parcel data. Occationally, the County records subdivisions without the approval of Logan City, so we use our IllegalParcels Feature class to flag what the city considers illegal subdivisions. Only city approved subdivision's parcels are added to this parcel database. In 2011 or 2012, the zoning attributes were completely changed to new descriptions. The old Zoning descriptions are saved in the OldZones field.</SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV>
